Arkansas sees record high price for diesel fuel

Arkansas is seeing a record high price for diesel fuel.

AAA reports that the price per gallon is $5.40 as of yesterday, seven cents higher than last week and seventeen cents higher than last month. 

Around the state, unleaded gas is currently sitting at around $4.49, up 37 cents from one month ago. 

Here in Texarkana, the average for diesel is $5.43, while unleaded is around $4.33.  Murphy USA and Valero are tied for cheapest diesel at $5.15, while Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Super 1 Foods tied for cheapest unleaded at $4.31.
