A Texarkana man is facing multiple felony charges following a traffic stop in West Texas.
According to the Brewster County Sheriff’s Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle south of Marathon on Saturday afternoon and discovered eight undocumented individuals inside. Authorities say the driver, Kenneth Earl Williamson, was transporting seven men and one woman from Mexico and Venezuela.
Williamson was taken into custody and is charged with eight counts of smuggling of persons.
The migrants were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol for processing and removal. No additional details have been released.
