A Texarkana man is facing charges after police say a disturbance at a restaurant led to a foot chase Saturday evening.
According to the Texarkana, Texas Police Department, 21-year-old Jason Mitchell allegedly became disruptive at a restaurant on West 7th Street, attempting to fight coworkers and customers before leaving the scene.
An officer later spotted Mitchell nearby, but police say he ran away while making threats toward officers. The chase ended inside the Roadrunner convenience store, where officers used pepper projectiles before taking him into custody.
Mitchell was booked into the Bi-State Jail on a charge of evading detention.
