A Texarkana man is facing serious charges after allegedly robbing a convenience store at gunpoint earlier this month.
Police say 38-year-old Larodderick Jermaine Clay held up a clerk at the Fuel-N-Go on Robison Road on June 14, stealing cash, cigarettes, alcohol, candy, and snacks. He reportedly forced the clerk to the floor at gunpoint and fled the store—just as the clerk’s son walked in and quickly called 911.
Clay was arrested nearby with a stolen handgun and the stolen items in a bag. He's charged with aggravated robbery and firearm theft and could face life in prison if convicted.
