Five families have already moved into their new homes, including Florence McCoun, who says she’s thankful and thrilled with her new place in the Beverly Community.
City Project Manager Matt Solomon says more homes are being demolished and new applications are under review, with about $1.5 million invested so far.
Interested applicants can find out more at texarkanatexas.gov. The deadline to apply is December 5.
