Texas A&M University-Texarkana has expanded its online education offerings, now providing 23 degree programs that can be completed entirely online.

The university has also launched a new website dedicated to online-only degrees, allowing prospective students to explore programs, apply for admission, and find scholarship opportunities.

School officials say the programs are designed to help working adults, military members, and students in rural areas earn a degree without attending classes on campus.

According to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, about 2.6 million working-age adults in Texas have some college credit but no degree.

TAMUT President Ross Alexander says the goal is to make higher education more flexible, accessible, and affordable for all students.
