Drivers in Texarkana should expect delays beginning Monday, July 20, as the city starts roadwork on Richmond Road between Summerhill Road and Texas Boulevard.
The project includes milling and resurfacing the roadway and is expected to take about five days to complete, weather permitting. Traffic will remain open with traffic control in place, but motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time while crews are working.
City officials thank drivers for their patience as improvements are made to one of Texarkana's busiest roads.
