Police in Texarkana say a man was arrested Monday after causing a disturbance at a fast-food restaurant on Richmond Road.
According to the Texarkana Texas Police Department, 40-year-old Michael Whisenant pulled into a McDonald’s drive-thru, received his food, and then remained in place, blocking the line. When employees asked him to move, he reportedly became upset, complained about his order, and went inside the restaurant.
Police say Whisenant yelled at staff and customers, entered a restricted kitchen area, and attempted to strike an employee but missed. He then left the restaurant.
Officers later located his vehicle a few blocks away and conducted a traffic stop. Whisenant was arrested and taken to the Bi-State Jail on a charge of disorderly conduct.
